Step 4 — Submitting the Immigration Petition (I-526)

The Regional Center and your immigration attorney will begin gathering all the documents to submit your application for a permanent investment visa. This application is called the I-526. There are documents required by the investor and of the targeted investment. The Regional Center should provide all that is needed and the investor should provide his/her portion. The single most problematic documents are source of funds documents. The investor must prove their source of funds for the investment is from a legal source. There are many more requirements; however your attorney and Regional center will guide you.
